Madeline Stuart is only 21 years old, but she has already achieved status as an international supermodel, launched her own clothing line, and become an active philanthropist. Her love for modeling began as a teenager when she first experienced a fashion show and couldn’t wait to walk the runway herself. The Australian model has been making headlines this month, having recently walked in New York’s and London’s Fashion Weeks for the sixth season.
My interview with a very inspiring model with Down's syndrome, @Madeline_Stuart who is walking in London Fashion Week. I spoke with her when she had just stepped off the plane from NY Fashion Week https://t.co/PMLgd09snO#LondonFashionWeek#LFW2018#fashion#diversitypic.twitter.com/G2k9yEZaxK

As the first professional supermodel with Down syndrome, Stuart has changed the face of the fashion industry with her revolutionary career and continues to advocate for diversity and inclusion. “The different-abilities community is closest to my heart,” she says, and she works to donate to as many charities as possible.
Stuart’s accomplishments have inspired many people, but what inspires her?
In an interview with Iconic, Stuart said, “Life inspires me. I want to live life to its fullest, to experience as much as possible, and to have as much fun as possible on this journey. We are not here for a long time so we should make every moment count.”
