The Kartause Maria Thronus Iesu (Monastery of our Lady, Throne of Jesus) was built by Duke Albrecht II of the Habsburg family in 1330. Carthusian monks inhabited the monastery until the late 18th century. It remains the largest existing Carthusian monastery of the 15th century.
