SAINT RÉMY CHAPEL, SAINT-SAUVIER (ALLIER)
Known since Gallo-Roman times, the spring of Holy Savior became important when St. Remy, bishop of Rheims, crossed its path and blessed it. Having become pure and miraculous, the spring quickly attracted the faithful, who had a small shrine built there. In the 17th century, a larger chapel was built and the date of June 24, the feast of St. John, was set for a pilgrimage. Even today, the inhabitants go there to drink a few sips of water from this spring, which, it is said, never runs dry.
