Create a sense of belonging
The Dominicans are very much a community, whose members will move wherever necessary to fulfill a given mission. It's important to encourage a sense of community in your own children, whether it's in the family, neighborhood, school, or your local parish. It's not only character building, it gives a great sense of security.
