Chapel of Notre-Dame des Vernettes, Peisey-Nancroix (Savoie)
A miraculous cure was the reason for the Marian dedication of this 18th-century shrine. At an altitude of 5,900 ft, the chapel, listed as a historical monument, is a jewel of Savoyard Baroque art. Inside you can admire the altarpiece dedicated to Our Lady of Piety.
