St. Ives, Cornwall
This stunning seaside town is known for its beaches and views that inspire artists. The popular destination is named after the 5th-century Irish martyr
St. Ia. It is believed the young Irish princess arrived in Cornwall as a missionary but was killed by King Teudar. She was buried in what is now St. Ives and the town developed around her burial site, under the church of St. Ives.
