Has your fiancé left you with barely an explanation? You must feel utterly crushed in the face of this sudden betrayal by someone who, until recently, professed their undying love for you.
The initial denial may be followed by anguish as you come to realize that this is their final decision. Aside from feeling humiliated, you may think that your life has lost all meaning. What can you do to get through this traumatic experience?
Only freedom can make true love blossom
First, make sure you’re getting enough sleep, exercise, and nutritious food to recover your energy.
Second, it’s vital to realize that you haven’t become worthless just because your fiancé fell out of love with you. And more importantly, there is a grieving process you must go through. This will require that you stop waiting for your beloved to come back.
Of course, this breakup has caused you terrible pain, but perhaps there were some serious reasons behind it. Maybe your boyfriend or girlfriend realized that despite all the love they bear for you, the marriage was not possible for one reason or another.
Despite the pain, try to remember that no matter the reasons, only freedom can make true love blossom.
You can fall in love again, and the second time will be better than the first
Not only will you be able to surmount this tragedy, but it presents you with an opportunity to grow. It will allow you to discover that true love is more than a romantic infatuation.
Finally, don’t forget that you may meet someone special and fall in love again. This second time will be better than the first. In the meantime, there are still all those who love you –your family, friends, and most of all God, who is close to the broken-hearted.
