Charles D. Beard and his wife Brielle are members of the Stanley Rother Catholic Worker Community in Oklahoma. They have three children: Mychael (16), Ben (14), and Tobias (4). Charles is a fifth generation Okie — which he is weirdly proud of — and a deacon candidate for the Diocese of Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma.
