Did you see the “He Gets Us” Super Bowl ads?

He Gets Us ad campaign, commercial

He Gets Us | Fair Use via YouTube

Philip Kosloski - published on 02/16/23

During the latest Super Bowl, a Christian group paid for short "He Gets Us" ads to be aired during TV's most watched night.

The Super Bowl is regarded as one of the most watched nights on television, and for many, it is not the football game but the advertisements that are the most entertaining part of the night.

With this in mind, a Christian group decided to fund a massive ad campaign to air a simple message, “He Gets Us.”

According to their website, “He Gets Us is a movement to reintroduce people to the Jesus of the Bible and his confounding love and forgiveness. We believe his words, example, and life have relevance in our lives today and offer hope for a better future.”

While there has been some controversy about how much money was spent for this ad campaign, others praise the non-denominational Christian group for their effort in trying to spread the Gospel message.
