In particular the Dominicans in Toulouse, France, where Aquinas is buried, will be celebrating these anniversaries with various events.

St. Thomas Aquinas was canonized on July 18, 1323, by Pope John XXII.

2024 – 750 Year Anniversary of Death

The “Angelic Doctor” died on March 7, 1274, and 2024 will mark 750 years since his death.

The final anniversary to be celebrated will be Aquinas’ birth. It is not certain the exact date of Aquinas’ birth, but he was born in 1225.
