Gloria Estefan performs “Last Christmas” with her family on ‘GMA’

Sarah Robsdottir - published on 12/16/22

Singing with daughter Emily and grandson Sasha, she offers fans a taste of the new album 'Estefan Family Christmas.'

Gloria Estefan, her daughter Emily, and grandson Sasha stopped by Good Morning America (GMA) to talk about their recently released album, Estefan Family Christmas. They also gave fans a taste of what’s in store for them on this multigenerational project by harmonizing together in their very own rendition of the modern classic “Last Christmas,” featured above.

In an extended clip of the same visit to GMA, shared on Yahoo News, Gloria appears first and foremost as a proud mother and grandma. Before she, Emily, and Sasha perform, Gloria can be seen straightening grandson Sasha’s collar and patting her daughter Emily on the back.

Gloria also takes a moment to speak from the heart about what a joy it was to collaborate with her family on this special album that includes a mix of Christmas classics, as well as original songs, such as the new album’s title track, “Thankful.”

On her website, Gloria gives a little more background on Estefan Family Christmas, her first Christmas album since 1993’s Christmas Through Your Eyes, an album that shared the name of the hit song written for her then young son Nayib, Sasha’s father.

Estefan Family Christmas is available in stores and through streaming services everywhere.
