A video has emerged of Shane Harris, a School Resource Officer (SRO) at Dodge City High School in Kansas, lending his dance skills to the school’s drill team.
The moment was captured by Debbi Conrardy, who quite rightly shared with Harris: “You brought the house down!”
While Harris’ moves are certainly impressive, what’s particularly enjoyable about the video is to see the school’s law enforcement officer let his hair down, and show the students the lighter side of his role at the school.
As many commenters pointed out, Harris has managed to make connections with the school and its students, especially as that routine would have taken some practice! This is what community is all about: giving your time for the good of others, without expecting anything in return.
