Robert Lewandowski, the captain of Poland, is happy to share his faith for all to hear.

With the World Cup garnering millions of viewers around the world, it’s always heartening to see players sharing their faith.

This was just the case with Robert Lewandowski, a striker for Barcelona who is also captain of his national team, Poland.

The devout Catholic and father of two young children, took to social media to share the importance of his faith, especially in the world we’re living in.

In the short video, the 34-year-old explained how he was holding a special key chain that was symbolic of his Catholic faith. He went on to explain that he wanted to show that he wasn’t “ashamed of Jesus, or my faith.”

He also pointed out that he believes God is watching over him all the time — a fact that won’t go unnoticed by his fans who saw the player score his first World Cup goal against Saudi Arabia.

Interestingly, in a world that is moving so quickly, Lewandowski believes that his faith is vital to his life on and off the pitch, and that it simply helps him to be a “good person.”

Hopefully, the short video will inspire fans, young and old, to stand up for their faith and live a life that represents their Catholic values.
