St. Thérèse of Lisieux lived a life full of God’s love, and she called her pathway to God the “little way.” It was a simple spirituality of following God like a little child, letting him guide her in every way possible.
While the “little way” may be simple, it is not always easy to follow and requires a great deal amount of trust in God’s providence.
Here is the collect prayer for her feast day, asking God for the grace to walk in her “little way.”
God our Father, you promised your kingdom to the little ones and the humble of heart.
Give us grace to walk confidently in the way of Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus,
so that, helped by her prayers, we may see your eternal glory.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever.
