The Carmelite Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Los Angeles know how to come together and make the most of those long summer days.

While summer might be nearing an end, it’s not to late to make the most of those long summer weekends with family and friends. In fact, you could take inspiration from a group of Carmelite sisters who recently shared what they get up to at this time of year.

In a short video on Twitter, the Carmelite Sisters shared how they get together in the summer “to pray, visit, be renewed.” This involves 120 sisters coming together at “one amazing family gathering.”
