Sometimes we may feel especially vulnerable to either physical or spiritual attacks, and we may want additional angelic assistance. God is always very generous, and if we ask him to send an angel to protect our family, he will surely respond to our prayers.
We may not see these angelic beings that surround us, but they are always with us, constantly guarding us from potential dangers that we know nothing about.
Here is a prayer from the Roman Ritual that can be prayed to ask God to send an angel to protect your family.
Hear us, Lord, holy Father,
almighty and eternal God;
and graciously send your holy angel
from heaven to watch over,
to cherish, to protect, to abide with,
and to defend all who dwell
in this house.
