Catholic prayer to break free from sexual sins

Many men and women today struggle with sexual sin, whether that is pornography, masturbation, or sex outside of marriage.

Whatever sexual sin it might be, it is a long road to break from free that addiction, one that includes practical steps as well as spiritual steps.

Here is a prayer from the St. Andrew Daily Missal that can help on the spiritual side of things, asking God to set a person free from such chains.

Break, O Lord, the chains of our sins;
that we may offer unto you this sacrifice of praise
in perfect liberty and with a pure mind,
restore unto us that which you have granted before;
and save us by your mercy, whom once you saved by your grace.
May our hearts and bodies flourish again
with the vigor of purity and the freshness of chastity.
May we be cleansed by your loving kindness from all temptations.
