Holy Spirit ACTIVATE

We could all join in with this trend.

A new trend has emerged on TikTok, and it’s one that fills us with joy — and even the Holy Spirit!

The inspiration behind this trend came from an episode of Celebrity Family Feud, in which one of the contestants, Chynna Phillips from the group Wilson Phillips, did something a little unusual before stepping up to take part in the quiz.

Before answering, she summoned the Holy Spirit with a rousing chant of “Holy Spirit Activate,” accompanied with a little dance. Her efforts paid off, with the singer and actress winning $25,000 for charity.

However, her chant and dance did more than inspire Phillips; it created a viral trend. Young Christians, such as @joechristianguy, saw her performance and started posting videos on TikTok of themselves summoning the Holy Spirit with their own activation chants.

While this new trend might have started in jest, the youngsters are trying it out before they face stressful situations, such as exams or interviews. And if the rallying cry of “Holy Spirit Activate” continues to grow in popularity, it can potentially encourage youngsters to continue to lean on the Holy Spirit in trying times.

What this trend proves is that the Holy Spirit moves in mysterious ways and can find a way to reach us even in the most unlikely form of social media humor.
