Catholic prayer to be renewed by the Eucharist

The time after receiving Holy Communion is meant to be a special time spent with Jesus. It is the perfect time to talk to him and to ask him to refresh and renew your soul.

Here is a short prayer that asks God to transform us by the Eucharistic encounter.

Grant us, almighty God,
that we may be refreshed and nourished
by the Sacrament which we have received,
so as to be transformed into what we consume.
Through Christ our Lord.
