If you are missing a pet, try praying to St. Anthony, the patron saint of lost things.

Pet owners around the world are often heart broken when they realize that their beloved pet is missing. It can be difficult to lose such a companion, and many owners will do all that they can to find their missing pet.

One saint whose intercession would be perfect for such a scenario is St. Anthony. Many already invoke him to find a missing item, so why not also a missing pet?

Here is a prayer that can be adapted for this distressing situation.

St. Anthony, perfect imitator of Jesus, who received from God the special power of restoring lost things, grant that I may find [name the pet] which has been lost. At least restore to me peace and tranquility of mind, the loss of which has afflicted me even more than my material loss. To this favor, I ask another of you: that I may always remain in possession of the true good that is God. Let me rather lose all things than lose God, my supreme good. Let me never suffer the loss of my greatest treasure, eternal life with God. Amen
