Angel of God, my guardian, you are not a mere fantasy or just my imagination. Scripture tells me that you are real, and that you are beside me. Never allow me to forget that you are here or to think that I am alone.
You are my companion who is always beside me, and also beholding the face of my Father in heaven.
That is what God assures me: I send an angel before you, to guard you, to accompany you on the way, so you will not fall.
Sometimes, I have chosen to ignore your advice, telling you with my actions, if not with my words, to leave me alone. Thank you for never leaving me, even when in my rebellion, that is what I ask.
Today, let me examine my relationship with you:
Do I listen to you?
Do I tell you good morning each day?
Do I ask you to watch over me while I sleep?
Do I speak with you?
Do I ask your advice?
Am I aware that you are beside me?
