The "Come, Holy Spirit" prayer remains one of the most powerful prayers to invite the Holy Spirit into your life.

One of the most popular prayers in the Catholic Church is the “Come, Holy Spirit” prayer (Veni, Sancte Spiritus in Latin). It is a prayer that invites the presence of Holy Spirit into your life and asks for spiritual strength.

The prayer is especially effective at stirring within us the fire of God’s love and the ability to listen attentively to God’s voice in our hearts.

Many saints have recommended praying this prayer daily and letting the Holy Spirit guide all our actions.

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love.
V. Send forth your Spirit, and they shall be created.
R. And You shall renew the face of the earth.

Let us pray.
O God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations. Through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
