Bishop William Byrne of Springfield, MA, is preparing to appear in a live virtual event. The prelate will discuss his new book 5 Things with Father Bill: Hope, Humor, and Help for the Soul, a practical guide to enriching one’s faith in their daily life. The event will take place on March 24, at 3PM EST and is free to attend for all who RSVP.

The event is being put on by the Catholic Information Center (CIC) in Washington, DC. In a press release, the CIC describes Bishop Byrne’s new book:

For almost a decade, popular priest and YouTube personality Fr. Bill Byrne wrote a column titled “5 Things” for his local church newspaper featuring five life hacks, prayer starters, or spiritual meditations to help readers grow closer to God and appreciate the small—but vital—things in life.

The book

5 Things with Father Bill: Hope, Humor, and Help for the Soul, is a book that grew from Bishop Byrne’s YouTube series,”5 Things.” The series explores Catholic daily life and how to keep one’s faith in focus. Bishop Byrne gives helpful tips to this end, while also exploring metaphysical aspects of life and dispelling “myths” about Catholicism.

.

The book covers many topics that will be discussed during the live virtual event. Attendees will be introduced to ways to conquer fear, how to be a genius, the power of blessings and prayers, saints to emulate, tips for Lent, Easter, Advent and Christmas, and even “lessons from Maggie, Fr. Bill’s pet Labrador retriever.”

The event

The event will be marked by Bishop Byrne’s engaging and accessible style. An animated, charismatic speaker, Byrne entertains with witty quips and educates with original thoughts that are bound to show the world in a new light.

The March 24 live discussion is free to attend for all who RSVP. Time is running out, so register now to attend what is sure to be a thought provoking Catholic master class.  Click here to RSVP.
