Watch Fr. Robert Spitzer, the author of ‘Christ Versus Satan in Our Daily Lives: The Cosmic Struggle Between Good and Evil’ in a live-streamed lecture on March 2.

Are you a bit off your spiritual game lately? Does it seem like this prolonged lockdown is bringing out the worst in you? Do you sometimes wonder who is winning the battle of your soul?

You’re not alone. And while you may not need an exorcist (just yet), you might want to tune in to watch a free, live-streamed lecture by Fr. Robert Spitzer, the author of Christ Versus Satan in Our Daily Lives:The Cosmic Struggle Between Good and Evil.

On March 2, at 6 pm., the Catholic Information Center in Washington, DC will be hosting this online-only event with Fr. Spitzer, a spiritual writer, theologian, and President of the Jesuit Magi Center and the Spitzer Center.

In his new book, Fr. Spitzer, makes the argument that spiritual evil is very real a threat to each and every on of us. He provides a guide to recognizing and overcoming it in our daily lives. According to the Catholic Information Center, the book is divided into two parts: “the realities of God’s goodness and of spiritual evil, and recognizing and overcoming diabolical tactics, which range from temptation and deception to the Deadly Sins.

In the book, Fr. Spitzer addresses Jesus’ victory over Satan, and discusses real-life manifestations of diabolic activity, such as the case of possession on which the book and movie on which The Exorcist were based.

The book concludes with an explanation of how diabolic spiritual forces work and useful solutions on how to arms oneself against the devil’s tactics.

The lecture will take place on Tuesday, March 2, from 6 pm -7 pm. EST. Register for this event at cicdc.org.
