It’s been a year since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, and everyone around the world has been affected. As the situation continues to be difficult around the world a year later, it’s normal to feel discouraged; it’s hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Yet the world keeps turning. Tragically, the coronavirus has caused many deaths, but you and I are still here. Let’s take a moment to be thankful for that.
Let’s continue to stand strong, trust in God, and try not to lose hope. Let’s fight each day to make the best of a bad situation.
God will give us the necessary strength to continue. Although everything may seem to be going badly, there’s always a light shining in this darkness.
If we can’t manage by relying only on our own strength, we can always count on a friend or family member. And most of all, we can rely on God’s grace. We are never truly alone, even when we’re isolated.
We need to love those around us, as much as we can and more. That’s how we can overcome adversity. Our neighbors are also waiting for a word of encouragement from us. This self-giving will fill our hearts with great joy.
I’m not making up this advice on my own. It comes from the saints, who also experienced discouragement at various difficult times in the history of the world. Yet they were able to go forward with the joy that comes from accepting God’s will.
