Watch the joy of this man seeing snow for the first time

Sometimes the beauty of God's creation is beyond words.

To start the year in a positive light, take a minute to watch this video of a Nigerian man seeing snow for the first time. There are so many beautiful things to witness here: the lengths his housemate went to so that he would discover the blanket of snow in all its glory; the reaction and sheer excitement of the “reveal,” and the trepidation as the young man touches the snow for the first time.

It’s not just a feel-good video, it’s a reminder of the many wonders of our world that we often take for granted. It’s also a lesson in friendship. So as a new year begins, let’s think about how we can appreciate all the little things we forget to take delight in, and resolve to help others to do the same!
