It reminds us that no matter what happens, God is always faithful.

At times we will place our hope in events, or human beings. Unfortunately, often we are disappointed when something doesn’t happen in the way we had planned, or when a person lets us down.

Yet, despite whatever may happen, or whatever uncertainty we feel, we can be confident of one thing: God is always faithful.

We can and should put our hope in God, knowing that he will not abandon us.

Here is a short Bible verse that we can use to remind ourselves that our God is always faithful.

Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations. (Deuteronomy 7:9)
