With COVID playing havoc worldwide, so many people have had to radically change their plans. Long-awaited weddings, sporting events, and vacations have been cancelled, and kids have missed out on special occasions, too. With the run-up to Advent and Christmas, these disappointments will be amplified as all the Nativity plays and school concerts are put on hold for another year.
Yet, there is some good that can come in the midst of all that disappointment, as this new commercial demonstrates. While showing compassion for what it must be like to miss out on a dream, the commercial shows us the beauty of when a community comes together — even in hard times.
