Unsure how to interact with disabled children? Winnie the Pooh knows what to do! (Video)

This touching video provides an example for all of us to follow.

If you’re not familiar with various disabilities and those who live with them, interacting with a child who has a disability can feel daunting. What if I mess this up? What if I say the wrong thing? 

Jessie Barber, a parent of a child with a disability, shared a recent experience she had of someone who knew exactly what to do:

“Those of you who have disabled children know the feeling when people look but aren’t sure how to interact with your kiddo. This Winnie the Pooh melted my heart and knew exactly what to do!”

The Winnie the Poo character spent over 10 minutes with the family and patiently played with the child the whole time.
