Throughout history, many royal kings and queens have been either great sinners or inspiring saints. Each had a choice to use their power for the greater good of all, or to lord it over others to fulfill their own personal desires.

Thankfully, many kings and queens clung closely to Jesus Christ and walked each day in the light of the Gospel.

Not only did they find inspiration in the Gospel, but they lived it out in their public lives, inspiring the people they ruled.

Here are a few of the many royal women who were captivated by Christ and used their power to help others in need.
