Players at a Dutch soccer match were surprised at the recent Feyenoord-Excelsior game by an avalanche of children’s toys showered over the section occupied by kids from a local children’s hospital.
When Excelsior fans discovered they would be seated in the section above patients from Sophia Children’s Hospital who had been invited by Feyenoord, they hatched a plan to bring plush toys and teddy bears, raining them down on the kids from the top tier.
