Research has shown that spirituality and regular prayer decrease stress and improve emotional well-being and have been increasingly recommended by mental health professionals for reducing the effects of depression and anxiety.
A new app, Ora, is aiming not only to encourage you to pray more but also to connect Christians all over the world in prayer together.

The app allows users to submit prayer requests anonymously, view requests from others, and set reminders for prayer time.
According to their website, “Ora has two primary goals: to give support to people struggling with burdens, and to encourage people to actively participate in the Body of Christ by taking time out of their day to pray for their brothers and sisters in need.”
If you’re looking for a way to welcome prayer into your daily life and connect with others doing the same, this app might be for you. And the time spent in prayer and generosity towards others might just edify your own well-being, too.
