The Church of the Good Shepherd is nestled atop a hill in the International Dark Sky Reserve in the Mackenzie region of New Zealand in the shadow of Mt. Cooke and overlooking Lake Tepako. The reserve is famous for its crystal clear skies and almost non-existent light pollution, making it one of the most breathtaking locations in the world to see the Milky Way and the Southern Lights.
