I don’t mean to brag. Well actually I do. I am proud of my sisters at the Daughters of Saint Paul. The sisters are accessible, zealous, joyful, strong, and funny.
During my first visit to one of our convents, I thought, “This feels like family.” And that is part of the special charism of our sisters: we invite people in, we never make people feel like they are the sinners and we are the holy ones. Like Saint Paul, we readily admit our brokenness. We walk alongside and truly love the people of God.
Our Pauline charism calls us to use the most modern means available to preach the Gospel. We speak in everyday language about everyday issues. We are with the Church in the heart of the modern world. We are everyone’s sisters—prayerful, approachable, trusted.
Have you ever met a Daughter of Saint Paul? Perhaps you’ve gone to one of our bookstores around the country. Maybe you’ve met us at one of our book fairs at your parish, or at a conference, or a talk. Or perhaps you’ve never met a Daughter of Saint Paul.
