At the Las Canteras Beach in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on the Spanish Canary island of Gran Canaria lives the largest sand Nativity scene in the world. The Nativity consists of many different scenes, including Jesus, Mary and Joseph (pictured), that are built by artisans from nine countries using more than 2,000 tons of sand.
