Attend the oldest university in the English-speaking world from the comfort of your home.

We’ve all been there. Your Netflix binging habit may have left you in need of a bit of mental palate cleanser. How about this free online course from Oxford lecturer James Grant on the philosophy of art? If it doesn’t leave you feeling a bit elevated, at least you’ll be able to hold you own at your next arty party.

The 8-class series will take you through Plato, Aristotle, Hume, and Kant’s writing on art and beauty. The last two lectures examine the interpretation of literature in the second part of the class, and the expression of emotion in music. You Kant go wrong with this one!
