Watch as this family brings a kitten back to life (VIDEO)

On their way home, this family spotted something truly pitiful: a small white kitten freezing in the snow. Nearly dead from the cold, the kitten didn’t appear to be moving or breathing, but they weren’t ready to give up that easily.

They brought the kitten inside, warming him by the fire, and spent over an hour performing CPR on its tiny body. Eventually, the kitten began breathing on its own again. By the evening, he was walking around! After the time and care they had devoted to him, they couldn’t bare to give him away, so they decided to keep him. Appropriately, they named him Lazarus because he had returned from death.

In the middle of a harsh winter, all of God’s creatures need some love and compassion. Watching this family care for this little kitten is a reminder of the gentleness and kindness that God has for each of us.
