The University of Glasgow Chapel Choir performs at church services and a weekly concert every Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. The group is made up of students, faculty, and graduates, which is why you’ll see many different styles of robe.
While they haven’t recorded much, they have successfully completed tours of America, Germany, the Baltics, and Tuscany. Their conductor Katy Lavinia Cooper has led the chorus since 2015.
This tune was composed by Oliver Tarney, who is currently Head of Composition and Singing at Winchester College, in Hampshire. Tarney has written a number of choral works that vary in complexity, and enjoys writing songs that children can sing as well as adults. His most recent work, a setting of the Magnificat, has received acclaim from critics.
