Try not to melt watching these twin toddlers recite the Our Father (VIDEO)

Sophia Swinford - published on 08/24/17

These little girls have just learned the Lord's Prayer and they recite it with feeling.

“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)

Many a cradle Catholic has learned the Our Father as a child, perhaps even so young that you don’t recall actually memorizing it; it’s just always been a part of your life. And I’m sure many a parent has fought to get their children to pay attention during Mass or to say their prayers. Still, praying as a family is an important and sacred time, especially in the lives of young children.

This video is one such example. Natalie and Nicole, the twin toddlers, have recently been taught the Lord’s Prayer; watch as they try to recite it for their dad (and with passion!).
