The bilingual sisters of Elenyi make relaxing music

J-P Mauro - published on 07/29/17

Releasing songs in English and Spanish is bound to draw a huge audience.

Elenyi is a group of 3 sisters from Salt Lake City. The girls began singing as kids and, after being asked to perform in front of a crowd of 3000 people, they knew they wanted to make a career out of music.

They settled on the name Elenyi, which means “sunlight” in Greek, and have released one full length album under this name. They have also released several singles on Youtube. The quality of the videos traces their success; the older ones are much simpler than their most recent, more cinematic videos.

The sisters are all bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish. They use this to their advantage, releasing a cover of “Gracias a La Vida” in Spanish. This will allow them to grow and international audience from the very beginning of their careers.

Their goal in music is to touch the lives of others. They explain on their website:

One of our main goals in singing is to be able to touch the lives of others for good. Music was made to help change the mood of people who might be having a bad day, or things just aren’t going right for them.
