Anyone looking for audio podcasts to make that trip to the beach this summer a bit more rewarding might want to take advantage of the University of Oxford’s free lectures on the Aesthetics and the Philosophy of Art.

Available on iTunes, the 8-part lecture series is taught by Oxford professor James Grant and focuses on Plato, Aristotle, Hume, and Kant’s writings on art and beauty, understanding the nature of art, literature, and music.

Each lecture is a little less than an hour-long, and will hopefully get you through the worst of your holiday traffic jams this summer.
