Sergeant Josh Hargis of the 3rd Army Ranger Battalion stationed in Afghanistan cradles his newborn son, Lowell. Hargis lost both of his legs after a suicide bomber detonated her vest. He was awarded the Purple Heart. He lives with his wife Taylor and their two children, Whalin and Lowell. In spite of the many challenges that he and his family face they courageously persevere day to day.
