These lyrics are an apt description of “The Garden,” the title track of Kari Jobe’s 2017 album. The song grows like ivy, slowly creeping on the ground until it hits a wall and climbs high. Jobe is known as a prolific artist with a very strong voice, which can be heard in her performance of

 Here, she adopts a quieter, more tender tone as she speaks of love and redemption through God and faith.

The violin and synthesizer aid in creating a prayerful atmosphere that often feel trance-like in its ambiance. The presence of electronic instruments such as the synthesizer and electric bass prevent it from achieving the acoustic style the video claimed, but the sound they were able to capture in a forest is quite impressive.
