Care to listen to the former British Prime Minister Dave Cameron reading a chapter from Moby Dick? Now, thanks to the Plymouth University, you can. The university’s project made an audio book out of Melville’s most famous and influential novel. The results are available almost anywhere, including Audible and OpenCulture’s collection of audio books, but you can also listen to any chapter you want on Soundcloud, or download them via iTunes.
The project features famous voices, reading a chapter each. Here, we wanted to include Chapter 1 — for obvious reasons — as read by Tilda Swinton, but you can also listen to Sir David Attenborough, Stephen Fry and Mary Oliver, just to name a few.
