From the moment he heard the beautiful sound coming from a string bass instrument he made from ice, Colorado ice sculptor Tim Linhart had a dream: to make more music from ice. He is now the founder of Ice Music, based in Luleå, Swedish Lapland, which presents a winter concert series every year in a uniquely designed igloo concert hall. It showcases a variety of music styles, all played on instruments made of ice.
