World Youth Day Featured Artist: An Ode to Human Weakness

Glorious - published on 06/29/16

"Relever le Faible" (Raise the Lowly)

Beyond my torments your love triumphs.

Today we bring you Glorious, another group who will be featured at the Halleluya festival, a three day concert series at World Youth Day organized by the Shalom Community.

The new song from the group Glorious is already a success. One of the 12 songs from the album 1000 Echos, “Relever le Faible” (“Raise the Lowly”) is an ode to weakness. This song, accompanied by the artist’s pure and captivating voice, displays the the weakness of the sinful person before the triumphant love of Christ. The lyrics reveal the indescribable beauty of grace: “Show me your splendor and the beauty that comes in obedience to You.”

“Raise the Lowly” is a prayer for the person who wants to go from darkness into light and grow in the hope of the love of God.
