Victoria Picone never knew she would go as far as she has, but she kept on playing music and writing songs and now has released her first album, called My Heart to Yours, a selection of electro/pop/folksongs.
The young French songwriter and singer, who lost her father to cancer not long ago, says she found freedom and healing in pursuing music, and felt a strong need to share it with others. These songs are also in English, in part to honor her Canadian roots. She calls the album “a love story with God, and a journey of healing and reconciliation.” Picone wants others to find a message of hope in her music. She also wants to call people to authenticity and a stronger relationship with God.
“Find who you were created to be and commit to be that person. You are meant to live life and to live free …. You are a beautiful reflection of God,” Picone says.
