Invoke the Holy Spirit

Athenas - published on 04/16/16

"Espíritu Santo"

Athenas is back with a song that is good for your ears and for your soul. It is a song that is both simple and profound, like God. It’s a song to start off your day. Add it to your playlist and take a listen, especially when you have decisions to make. The song is an invocation of the Holy Spirit, who teaches us all things, as Christ tells us in the Gospel.

Benedict XVI says in a beautiful reflection on the Third Person of the Holy Trinity, the Holy Spirit, that only those who bring him into their heart are able to see. By the grace of baptism we receive him, and it is then up to us whether or not we accept and enjoy his subtle, sweet and powerful presence.

Watch and pray with this song, which is part of Athenas’ newest CD called “Me Basta Tu Gracia” (Your Grace Is Enough) and is available on iTunes.
