WATCH: A Different Kind of Halftime Show

The halftime performance of a sporting event can sometimes be the best part of a game (and the worst, if we call to mind past Super Bowls). This choreographed routine by the Mahomet-Seymour High School dance team in Illinois is a memorable one. Instead of a typical melodic song, the group chose Jon Jorgenson’s “What Are You Afraid Of,” a spoken-word piece, to which they performed an interpretive dance. The spectators may not have been expecting an enlightening halftime routine, but surely were left inspired by the talent of these young women and with a question to ponder: “What room does fear have?”
