Recently, the famous tenor Andrea Bocelli held an impromptu concert as he walked the streets of New York. After learning about the conditions in which many homeless live in the city, he set out with an acoustic guitar and collected $500 in a few minutes, which he then donated to the homeless, along with a personal donation.
Bocelli just released his latest album, Cinema two months ago. He gives philanthropically through his foundation, which bears his name.
